At the end of August I went to SixFlags and only took my oldest daughter so we could ride bigger rides. It was just past her Birthday so this was a treat for her.
On this trip I got to try a few of rides I hadn’t ridden before: the Texas Sky Screamer, Cat Woman Whip, and the Ride the Rodeo one in the Texas section. I also got her to ride the Titan for the first time.
I wasn’t ready for the Sky Screamer at all. I’ve never been big on tall rides and this one scares me with their Home Depot chains holding me safe 400+ feet off the ground. The wind whips you around while you are spinning and if you aren’t careful you will get nauseous unless you can focus on something to stare at.
The Cat Woman Whip is similar, you will get nauseous spinning like that. I guess I’m just getting old or something…
Ride the Rodeo was the worst of them all (nauseous-wise). now look, I’m not the nauseous type but these ride put me over the top. I will gladly ride the Cat Woman or even the Sky Screamer again but I will pass on the Rodeo one… I was really getting ill on that thing…
We had the usual lunch of chicken strips and I used my paper cup pass 4 or so times.
All in all it was a fun trip since I got to miss out on the kiddie ride land part. It was fun getting back on the Titan again after all those years.
