Six Flags over Texas for 2026 Part 4

To wash out the bad taste in my mouth of our ‘Family Fun Day’ from work… I decided to head back to the park for our 4th trip of the year. Holiday in the Park just started and I wanted to see what was going on. We were going to just stick to our typical early day trip so there would be no Christmas Light viewing.

Things went much better this time as far as the crowds and food went. People do love Holiday in the Park and you can tell they put some money into it. I guess Holiday in the Park and Fright Fest are the things keeping this park afloat so they make sure to spend some good money on it.

Renovations continue and work on the new Rollercoaster moves ever vertical. One again I rode few rides however… I put the kids on the Batwing ride and ran over to the Mr Freeze and just told them to ride the Batwing again if I wasn’t back. That’s a great thing about them growing up, I can leave them unattended for a bit now. Anyway I finally got to ride Mr Freeze! This was my first time and it was great! I hope to ride it again soon.

We ate at Johnny Rocket’s again. This time the portions were bigger. I like eating here as opposed to the All American because they don’t make big batches of food. The food just sits around at All American and gets cold. Also, I realize there are better food options than chicken strips but all three of us can eat off that meal it is filling enough. We got 3 or 4 refills off my paper cup pass and I offered them funnel cake or a stop by McDonald’s on the way home and they picked McDonalds (sundaes for the win).

We will attempt to come back for another day of Holiday in the Park before the year is over.
