One Week Down

by Chris McGinty (According To Whim .com)

I started out really strong the first three days of the new ten weeks. I put in a minimum of eight hours of personal project work each day. Then I went to Nathan’s. Yep, it’s Nathan’s fault.

Ok, not really. I went to a show Wednesday night. I got home at 3 am. I slept late the next day because I hadn’t slept as much as I should have Wednesday, and I didn’t have to work Thursday either, so I was all about it.

I went to Nathan’s Thursday night though, and it was quite productive. We shot a sketch, and a couple of video log (vlog) things, one where I drove his VW Beetle, which I really seem to enjoy for some reason. I plan to ask Nathan to do a joint blog post with me about the vlogs and the sketch to be posted to here when we can link them.

Friday and Saturday, I had to spend a bit too much time messing with getting a new phone, but so far as yet I’m happy with it. Then I worked a 12-hour post where I couldn’t really set up my laptop. I did at one point for about fifteen minutes to get some ideas down, since I wasn’t comfortable trying to save them in my phone yet.

So all in all it wasn’t a great week as things go, but I think I’m back on track now. As soon as I take a little nap. I have to work tonight you know.
