There once was a flash fiction writer who needed to get a story posted to the blog before midnight. Somehow, he had gotten ahead earlier in the week and squandered it by not writing. Because of this he decided to write a bullshit self referential piece about how he didn’t get around to writing. It was bound to happen eventually. He would never let it happen again. This kind of thing could too easily lead to multiple stories like this followed by just failing to post a story for months. From here on out he would make sure to do his writing first thing every day. I mean, not tonight. He was going to go deliver Uber tonight, but he definitely had learned his lesson, don’t you worry.
