I experience this weird ebb and flow in my life. I’ll let things just kind of get out of control for a while where it’s like even if I made a to do list I probably wouldn’t do anything on it. Then some motivation will come around and suddenly I’m like, “Oh hey, I should go ahead and take care of things.” I’ve been in that mode for the last few days. I just decided that there were some things that I really needed to get done and I started doing them. Don’t know how long this will keep up, but it feels kind of nice to be focused.
I’m still looking for that great focus moment where I get scheduled ahead on these blog posts. That leads me into the next problem with these kinds of habits. I know that in the past when I’ve got myself scheduled for a few days, one of the things that will happen is that I’ll be like, “Oh well, I don’t actually have to do anything today because I’ve got something scheduled.” I’m worried about that happening.
At this point, I think that it’s probably better than continuously running the risk I don’t have time or the idea to get something done before the day runs out, so I will probably want to spend the next couple of days turning my focus to that.
