Its that time of year to renew our Six Flags Season Passes. We hardly used our 2025 ones, but we did use them enough. I’ve pulled the trigger for 2026 so there is no going back now. I purchased 4 Gold Passes and one Meal Pass and one Paper Cup Drink Pass for 2026.
- 89.99 x 4
- 69.99 x 1
- 36.99 x 1
I ran into issues right away when I tried to get a meal/drink. I guess you need to activate the meal plan at Guest Services??? Anyway after delays I got my food and drink. The next time I got a drink, they denied me and I had to go to Guest Services and they said there was no issue. On my next try it worked. The next try also ‘failed’ according to the person helping me but I didn’t go back to Guest Services. The final time it worked, and the employee (a much younger, more tech-savvy person) said it was showing all fine and maybe other staff were struggling since it is a new program (it is a paper cup, and not a bottle refill).
The paper cup is only like 16oz and is smaller than the regular ones you can buy and you have to wait 15 minutes between refills. Anyway, let’s just say that it’s $4 per cup, that means we got $16 worth of drink this first visit.
We used our ‘one meal per visit’ pass which comes out to $19.99 worth of food this visit.
Here is the running total:
- Food = 19.99
- Drink = 16.00
- Tickets = 45.00 x 4 = 180.00
- Total so far for our 2026 Season Spend = 215.99
What I spent on passed:
- Food = 69.99
- Drink = 36.99
- Tickets = 356.00
- Total spent on 2026 Season = 462.98
At this point we should break even in another couple of visits. It was very hot so I am just waiting on Winter so we can go on the weekends and not be melting every step of the way. Really, we need to be done before the new coaster opens and attendance spikes.
On that note, when I went to Guest Services, they had a little whiteboard for their staff that said they expected 6k visitors that day. It was a Sunday and it was kinda busy (not bad at all, but a little busy).
