I really didn’t have all this extra value on my Bingo card for 2026 so yay!
We took a family trip to Fiesta Texas then Schlitterbahn the next day in mid August.
This brings my 2026 (pass) trip count up to 7 and my actual 2026 visits to a whopping 3. I definitely got my money’s worth out of my 2026 passes.
This was the first time I’ve visited Fiesta Texas. I’ve always been told it is a superior park to Six Flags Over Texas. I can see that is some areas but overall I think it’s a wash. There are areas in both parks that are excellent and some that lack. With the abundance of theming and rides (not associated with DC) I would have to say that Fiesta beats out Over Texas by a bit of a margin… maybe.
The front of Fiesta Texas is rather plain and unimaginative (I mean the exterior of the park). When you get inside it’s nice but the traditional Mexican Theming is drowned out by the modern Mexican music blasting your ears out. I found the loud modern Mexican pop music to be too loud and distracting. The DC theme seems to have been just slapped into the parks old 50’s era area. I totally understand that. Mexican patrons have no connection to 50’s white America. It’s could be re-themed to fit Metropolis fairly easily. Could be a little more detailed but that’s ok. I loved the theme and name of Crack Axle Canyon. What a cool name!
Overall it was nice park but the heat was killing me. The Germany ‘pavilion’ was a nice break from the heat. The Bugs Bunny log ride looked pretty long and awesome but it was closed for the season I guess.
My meal pass did not work here but the drink pass did. We got 4 drinks.
What I actually purchased ontop of my passes (extra money to SixFlags) this trip to Fiesta Texas:
- 2 Meals (19.99 ea)
- 2 Drink (5.49 ea)
- 1 Funnel Cake (14.99)
The next day we went to Schlitterbahn West (the original part of the park). I didn’t have so much fun this day due to the smaller kid not being able to join us on all the stuff. I was a nice trip down memory lane but it has been like 30 years so some stuff had changed. You no longer get dumped out into the Comal river anymore (go figure).
This is an old park with lots of shade trees and lots of walking up and down stairs. It’s very scenic though.

What I actually purchased ontop of my passes (extra money to SixFlags) for this Schlitterbahn trip.
- 1 Meals (19.99)
- 1 Meal (16.99)
- 2 Dippin dots (9.99 ea)
- 1 Locker (30.00)
So Overall:
I’ll try to figure this out here…
I initially paid:
- Food = 69.99
- Drink = 36.99
- Tickets = 356.00
- Total spent on 2026 Season Passes= 462.98
What I would have spent for all my trips so far for the 2026 passes but paid nothing:
- 5 Meals
- 20 Drinks
- 24 Entry Tickets
This is probably the last 2026 Season Pass post since I am about to renew and I will be on the 2027 Season Pass. I will do a grand total soon to see how much I have ‘saved’.
