It’s the Last Day of April

by Chris McGinty

In spite of the fact that I’ve expressed my distaste for streak habits in the past, I have posted a blog post every day this month. I just got in from delivering Uber Eats and I decided that since I had around 20 minutes to get a quick blog post written that I would go ahead and round out the month. I was very tempted to intentionally break the streak though. I decided to just acknowledge that I’m not technically going for a streak.

I searched “streak habit” on Creative Commons and I got a bunch of bird pictures. I’m not sure how streak plays into this, but am reasonably sure I know why there are no pictures of nuns.

I’m not really sure that I have anything to say. This is why I got frustrated with the idea of posting every day before. I’ve been pretty happy with the quality of my blog posts over the last month, because I was able to give most of them the time and attention to make them entertaining. Sure, Nathan found my alleged response blog post to be all over the place, but that was actually what I was going for in that case, not the result of not having time to write anything better. This is pretty much not having the time to write anything better.

Fear not, I’m not out of things to post about. I have a backlog of things to get to, and I went down numerous YouTube rabbit holes today, so I’m sure I’ll have some stuff to say about some of those as well. In the meantime, I’m going to actually keep this brief.
