Went to the Fort Worth Goodwill Outlet with my wife on this fine Wednesday and wound up buying too much. When you are huffin’ and puffin’ through the Bins you often find things you need to consider (if it’s worth it), so you drop it in your cart and move on. Well, there were a couple of things I forgot to review and wound up purchasing, crap!
- Addams Family Puzzle – This is worth a little online so I counted the pieces and it was one short! DOH! I put it together and sure enough my count was right. I went ahead and put it up Ebay but marked it down a bit. The missing piece is on the edge, so it could have been worse…
- Polly pocket playset – for the youngest kid…
- Some CDs for myself
- A Time Life sealed Christmas Treasury CD set. Going for $15 online so I listed it. UPDATE – Sold on Ebay $15
- Zoolander BD for myself
- Some random Legos for the oldest.
- Some cheap toys (jeep and boat) for the kids to play with outside.
- Random figures (as usual).
- New package of fake moss. I’ll keep this for my train sets and other miniature hobby builds.
- Toddler toys for the JBF sale. Quite a few this time and in great shape. I sell these from $4-8 each depending on size and condition.
- A Ms Pacman TV plug in game. It works fine but MAN, this thing is crappy. I though it would be a great emulation of the game but it isn’t. It’s cheap (like near-Atari quality). Posted it to Ebay.
- Robot hand – The kids love it.
- Mini TMNT arcade. One of those Tinyest Arcade machines. Works fine, posted it to flea-bay. UPDATE – Sold on Ebay $15
- Mini car track/cars – Driven brand from Target. We have some of this already so this goes in the batch.
- Chilly Dilly bags – I don’t why I got these. I am a big Drive In movie theater fan and the intermission videos you can find on YouTube. Chilly Dilly is one of the more memorable commercials on there. Me and the kids will find a use for them.
- Star Lord and Black Panther masks – Once again, the kids love masks, superheros too.
- Misc toys – Magna tiles to go with their collection, dinosaurs, Spiderman, Disney figs, Barbie stuff.
- New Texas Chainsaw Massacre plush – When I did a search on Ebay I got a billion of these, all marked that they come from Lootcrate… typical. Junk stuff. I posted it anyway.
- 3 Little People – I will collect these and the Imagainex big feet people too. No reason, just fun. I sell them once I get a large enough quantity.
- McDonalds 40th Anniversary Hamburger Changeable. – UPDATE – Sold for $5
- Big PJ Mask car thing for the kids
- Sneaky Snacky Squirrel game – Probably resale (we already have one).
- 2 90w flood bulbs. They had like 4 cases of these. I would have bought more but I was just unsure. They appear to be new, so we will see.
- Lots of books (mostly to keep but some for sale).
- 80’s Spinjas Toys – This is a yellow case with 3 metal top type guys. Check it out. Man this brought back some deep kid memories. This is the kind of find that makes going to the Bins worth it. UPDATE – Sold on Ebay $30
- Travel Scrabble from the 70’s.
- Kitchen Timer – I don’t know why…
- Some clothes
- Phone/Camera portable gimbal – One of those things you put your phone on for filming and you can move and it stays upright. This was the item I was considering (cause it’s heavy) and I forgot it in my cart and wound up buying it. Really didn’t want to…
