Flash Fiction: Character Error

He wrote a lot of short fiction. Some of it was really short, a style known as flash fiction. Other stories got really long. He wasn’t exactly sure why it was, until one day he was thinking about all of his stories.

The common denominator was that if he named the characters, he seemed to think that they needed a back story. If he didn’t name the characters they could run through a short short story and just serve their purpose until the punch line of the story. This was a real Revelation for Rufus.

Ah, fuck…

So Rufus was born in 1977 on a farm in Idaho…
